We linked up with Tj's Motorsports for the annual Big Bike Weekend show, it was a success for both of us. The Tj's Motorsports built, Morgan Designs painted Custom Harley bagger took BEST IN SHOW for the weekend. The shop owner Tony celebrated on his winning bagger that night downtown with a burn out like no other, filling Downtown Redding with the sweet smell of high octane fuel and burnt rubber; needless to say it was good marketing. My wife helped out shaking hands and kissing babies for me at the Redding Convention Center event, while I worked airbrushing at our booth. We met a lot of great people and had a really fun weekend. Thank you to Mr.Leedy from the Christian Biker group for the inspirational sermon Sunday morning. Keep and eye out for us next year 2010, because we have some insane new projects coming out, we just finished an awesome airbrushed custom Harley Davidson which is currently going through final assembly. Also in 2010 we will have a couple refurbished late 1970's cafe racers with cool nostalgic paint jobs by Morgan Designs.
This was a fun show in Anderson California with loads of hot-rods, gassers and trailer queens. I got the chance to be commisioned to do a portrait of a very cool pick up truck form the coast. I was also able to hang out with my good freinds and arch enemies, some other custom painters and comrads of the industry, Tomcat, Jeff Crank, Dustin Gall and Howard Zeller too. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and talked with me about Hot Rods and cool Bikes.
These are some of our photos from Big Bike Weekend at the Redding Convention Center. We had a lot of fun and had the opportunity to talk with hundreds of new people. We are going to do the event in 2009, and we would love to meet and talk with you.
