A sticker will stick best on a clean smooth surface (like glass or a car finish); more porous surfaces will not take (stucco, fabrics, bumpy textures, cats, dogs). Clean the surface with soap and water. Then measure for placement, make marks if needed on transfer tape and the object. Now remove the white backing paper from the decal. This is where you want to not wrinkle or fold your decal, beware of the wind. Now you have to spray the adhesive side of the decal with a spray bottle using water and maybe a tiny bit of soap. Then place decal in the desired spot and squeegee the water out from the inside out, if you don't have a squeegee you can use a credit card. Start getting all the water and air bubbles out, start from the center and radiate outward. Squeegee firmly to insure good adhesion, don't be afraid to put you weight into it after the decal is in place. Now you can spray the transfer tape with water to help it release from the vinyl graphic. Now peel away the transfer tape, and check how awesome your new sticker looks. Congratulations you are now a trained vinyl application installation technician of the highest caliber.

We recommend hand washing any thing hand painted, clean with soap and water with low water pressure, we stand behind 303 Products and a very soft towel. Harsh chemicals are not recommended and could cause bad chemical reactions. Keep your paint out of the elements when ever you can, or covered with a non abrasive cover. Unclear coated items are especially vulnerable to damage and will need to be handled with even more care. For example CF numbers on a boat you would want to keep it off the dock or a canvas art piece (just don't touch the art). When using a towel to dry be cautious of debris or rocks that might have got onto your towel. After your project has cured for 30 days, a fully clear coated project could be carefully cut with 2000 grit sand paper and buffed out, to get a mirror finish. The more you do this the higher the chance you have of burning through to the art, and touch ups are no easy fix. Play it safe and stay off of edges and faceted corners. We clear with a hardened urethane so the finish will be strong, but proper care will make your paint job last a very long time.

$100 bucks! Just kidding... We give our prices through estimating each individual project, sometimes bidding sometimes hourly. We are very good giving a ball park figure and getting it done on time and on budget. We take into account location, time; materials and schedule for our bidding process, all changes and indecisiveness by the client elevate the costs rapidly. Morgan Designs would be glad to take a look at what you need done, and give you a number. Feel free to call for a quote over the phone 530.209.1971

Painted graphics can come off easy and sometimes not easy, with Easy Off oven cleaner. Now I warn you do a test piece, this will take paint off well, sometimes too well. Wear gloves and eye protection then spray on cleaner, let it soak for a good 15 minutes or even longer, and then wipe off the old lettering. Things you might have to live with; are that oranges, reds and yellows really penetrate and often permanently stain base paint especially white paint. Also if you are a patio boater and you want to take off CF numbers, I strongly recommend against this technique, gel coated boats however work really well with this Easy Off. So good luck! Wear gloves and eye protection through the whole process, and you will do well. If you start and realize that this will take forever, and you want to pay us to do it.. well we will do it for you for an hourly rate, if removal is possible.

If its on glass use a razor blade and please don't cut yourself, push the razor away from your body when removing the vinyl. Heat helps, vinyl thins out and adhesive loosen up with heat so a heat gun or hair dryer is helpful. 3M products makes an adhesive remover, and I have found that WD40 works well to even Windex helps break down that pesky adhesive. Many find the vinyl easy to take off and give up the adhesive removal which looks terrible because it attracts dirt and debris. Warning there is absolutely positively no way on earth any one should use a razor blade on the paint of any vehicle or boat, razor cuts in the finish will occur. So get a heat gun and some patients and get that old stuff off like a pro.

This is an insult to most artists that are artist for a living. I don't have spare time, and I am never board. Which is true, I love to do my own art when I can, other than that, my artwork is work, and I get paid to work. I started doing this for fun, now I do it for fun and to survive.
